1. Sock Ankle boots
At the start of September, I always have to buy a new pair of boots, (my ‘back to school’ treat if you will). And the sock trend has answered all my prayers this season. A sleek boot that you can pull on at a moment’s notice, pair it with wide leg culottes for a sports luxe vibe, or with a wool or pleated skirt.

2. Pleated skirt
Talking of pleated skirts, we’re loving the heavy, structured quality of this metallic number from Gucci. Tuck in a plain tee or an oversized jumper, and top off the look with trainers or a pair of heels. For a lighter feel with more movement, try this ASOS lookalike.

3. Chunky Knitwear
I L O V E chunky knits this time of year; there is just something so cosy about getting all wrapped up! You’ll be spoilt for choice on the high street this season with lots of great options around. 4. Leather Jacket
